“I’ve realized that it’s enough if one tone is played perfectly.” By focusing on single tones and triads Arvo Pärt created simple and direct music. Today, he is one of the most influential composers still alive. The Latvian Radio choir and Sinfonietta Rīga were awarded the Grammy Award for their performance of “Adam’s Lament”.
