In a continuation of the last few years' tradition to produce new and thematic programmes, the youth choir "KamÄ“r..." invites you to concert Moon Songs that will be held on 25th and 26th of February, 5 pm in the Great Hall of the University of Latvia, Riga. In its first part the choir together with chamber orchestra "Sinfonietta RÄ«ga" and soloists Armands Siliņš and JÄnis KurÅ¡evs will participate in the Latvian premiere of Carl Orff's Der Mond (The Moon) conducted by MÄris Sirmais, while the second part will consist of 10 freshly composed pieces by Latvian composers on the theme of Moon.
