The third session of the SINFONIETTA RIGA ACADEMY project, which started in the fall of 2023, was held.

In the joint project with NMV Riga Cathedral Choir School, master classes, concerts, open rehearsals and creative meetings are organized for Sinfonietta Rīga musicians, guest artists, music school, high school students and teachers.

On October 25, conductor Aivis Greters, cellist Friedrich Thiele and the musicians of Sinfonietta Rīga met in an open concert in the concert hall of the Emīls Dārziņš Music School, playing the works of Joseph Haydn, Maija Einfelde and Justė Janulytė.

On the other hand, in the post-concert conversation with Aivis Greters, we were able to learn the artist's formula for success, the path that led to the profession of a conductor and his own sources of inspiration.

More and more regular "Sinfonietta Rīga Academy" sessions are planned in the future, which will allow professional musicians, music teachers and young talents to meet.
